Ryan launched Game of Scones with a clear mission: ensuring no one in Herefordshire has to play the game of life alone. Whether he’s face-to-face with a rhino or setting up a community table, his focus is always on building genuine connection through the power of a good board game.

Tom
With over 13 years of experience playing everything from Dwarves to (literally) birds, Tom is the creative force behind our TTRPG adventures. As our Head DM, he ensures that Dungeons & Dragons is thriving across Herefordshire, focusing on epic storytelling and most importantly ridiculous voices. Whether you’re a veteran or have never touched a D20, Tom is here to make sure your first roll is a memorable one.
James
With a decade of experience across D&D 5e and the neon-soaked streets of Cyberpunk 2020, James is our resident expert in high-octane adventure. Known for his legendary, over-the-top One Shots, James specialises in homebrewing entire worlds from scratch. Whether he’s narrating an eldritch horror or a high-fantasy epic, he ensures every session is a cinematic experience. Just don’t ask him about his scone toppings.... He’s a firm believer in Marmite on scones, a choice as bold as his campaigns!
